Fans given big chance to play at Galpharm

TOWN fans have been handed a chance to celebrate the club’s centenary by playing on the Galpharm pitch.

Sunday, April 26 has been designated ‘centenary matchday’ with two games taking place at the stadium.

Supporters who are 18 or over can bid in an on-line auction for one of 22 places available for the morning match (11.30).

To have a chance of taking part in the afternoon game (3.00), which will also feature club legends and celebrities, fans must hold a Terriers account at the Yorkshire Building Society.

The morning matchday experience will include entering the stadium through the players’ entrance, being provided with personalised Town kit, a pre-match talk from a guest manager, a commemorative teamsheet and DVD of the 90-minute game.
