Clark tells Huddersfield Town players: I've got my eye on you

LEE CLARK says players will be under the microscope during every training session of his Galpharm reign.

Town’s hungry young manager has wasted no time in setting down his expectations of a 27-strong senior squad.

Clark hasn’t yet had the chance to see injured trio Andy Booth, Joe Skarz and Danny Broadbent on the practice ground.

And another three players are loaned out, Michael Flynn at Darlington and Tom Denton and Simon Eastwood at Woking.

But the 36-year-old boss has formed an early assessment of the others, and has picked the brains of Gerry Murphy and Graham Mitchell on all aspects of the Galpharm set-up.

His first priority is preparing for Saturday’s big home showdown with Hereford United, when 10th-place Town chase a sixth win in seven League I games.
