Clark seeking Huddersfield Town lift-off

LEE CLARK is confident Town can kick-start their latest new managerial era by maintaining their bright League I form at the expense of visitors Hereford United tomorrow.
But the club’s third boss of 2008 has warned that Graham Turner’s second-bottom side will be no pushover and that patience could be required by players and fans alike.
Clark, at that time assistant manager of Norwich, was in the crowd at Colchester when Hereford chalked up their first away win of the season a fortnight ago.
Town were 2-1 winners over Walsall that day, and another home success tomorrow would provide a sixth victory in seven league games.
“Gerry Murphy and Graham Mitchell have built up some momentum, and I obviously want to keep that going,” said Clark.
“I’ve inherited a talented and confident squad of players, and I’ve been more than happy at the way they’ve gone about things this week.”
