Steve Black column: Sat nav crucial as we get to grips with job

HI EVERYONE – it’s been a week since Lee, Faz and I arrived here in Huddersfield, and it’s been hectic!

So many people to meet and places to acquaint yourself with.

Thank God for a newly acquired satellite navigation system as my natural navigational skills have been put to the test and have come up wanting on more than one occasion!

But I have found my way to the places that matter and the people that count servicing what seems to me to be a marvellous family club.

The training facilities we have at our disposal are excellent and the plans for future development are very exciting.

Our first days with the team have shown them to be a smashing set of lads, full of enthusiasm and spirit on the training field with a penchant for playing the game the right way – they like to pass it!

Gerry and Graham have done a marvellous job in the interim period and we’re very fortunate to have inherited a squad with a positive mindset that’s evident on a daily basis.
