LEE CLARK would like to make Town’s new-look management team five-strong.
While Clark was installed along with coach Derek Fazackerley and performance coach Steve Black the week before last, assistant boss Terry McDermott joined on Friday.
Now Clark wants to bridge the gap between the first team and academy, which will continue to be run by Gerry Murphy and Graham Mitchell.
“I see the academy as vital, and Gerry and Graham are crucial to what I want to do here,” said Clark.
“The man I’m after will link both parts of the club, and if I can get him, I don’t think there will be many better backroom staffs anywhere.”
