LEE CLARK reckons the Galpharm return of Michael Flynn will be like getting a new signing ahead of the transfer window.
The experienced Welsh midfielder is back at Town after playing five matches in a month’s loan stint at League II Darlington.
And boss Clark – told by chief executive Nigel Clibbens that some players could have to leave if he wants to bring others in – is delighted to have Flynn on board.
“I’ve had him watched in matches for Darlington, and I’m pleased with what I’ve heard,” said Clark of the 28-year-old, who was a first-team regular until suffering a hamstring injury.
“Michael also came in for a day’s training with us last week, so we got the chance to have a chat.
“He’s been champing at the bit to come back, he’s a great addition to our squad, and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can bring to it.
