Lack of finishing the sole letdown: Clark
Jan 5 2009 by Dougie Thomson, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
“Although we started well, their lad (Allott) hit a goal that would grace any stadium, but we dusted ourselves down and continued to play well.
“We took our foot off the gas a little bit in the first 15 minutes of the second half in terms of quality and tempo but we upped it again and scored a terrific goal of our own. It was a great run from midfield by Michael Collins and a great finish.
“Every player can be proud of their performance because they all contributed to a terrific all-round performance.
“Oldham will be involved in the shake up, but there were times they were hanging on.
“If we can replicate that standard from now until the end of the season, we will go very close to achieving what we want to.”
