Match report: Huddersfield Town 1 - 1 Oldham Athletic
Jan 5 2009 by Dougie Thomson, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
Town’s best chance of forcing victory fell to Clarke, whose header from Roberts’ 82nd-minute corner was pawed away from under the bar by Fleming.
Substitute Ian Craney’s shot from distance brushed off the goalkeeper’s chest to bring a corner which came to nothing.
Then, in stoppage time, Parker’s back-header from Cadamarteri’s centre went just the wrong side of Fleming’s left-hand upright.
Meanwhile Oldham’s 13-goal top scorer Hughes had a great chance to snatch the three points two minutes from time, but headed over from Andy Liddell’s cross.
