TOWN are currently appearing in Coronation Street!
Fans of ITV’s famous soap might well have noticed the ‘Altogether Now’ club sticker – a familiar sight in cars in this area – in the van belonging to Joe McIntyre, the kitchen fitter who is Gail Platt’s boyfriend.
It’s presence is no doubt down to Reece Dinsdale, who plays McIntyre and is a keen Town fan (he was at last Saturday’s Oldham game).
Normanton-born Dinsdale, 49, began following the club as a child and can happily reel off the regular line-up of 1969-70, when Town last won promotion to the top fllght.
He presented the ‘Beyond the Touchline’ video that went behind the scenes at Town’s old Leeds Road ground.
