There’s more to come says Michael Collins

MICHAEL COLLINS says his goal which helped beat Swindon went some way to atoning for the error which contributed to Northampton’s stoppage-time equaliser the week before.
“I felt it was kind of my fault, because myself and Gary Roberts should have kept the ball in the corner, and I take responsibility,” said midfielder Collins, who played with a lightweight cast on his right hand to protect a fracture sustained at Sixfields.
“It was nice to go out against Swindon and score a goal which helped us take all three points.”
It was the Republic of Ireland Under 21 international’s sixth of the season, and he added: “It’s great to be bagging a few – a little bit of a reward after a well-documented tough start to the season for me.
“I don’t think I am anything like at the level I could play at, but I am laying the foundations to get into really good form and I hope to really pick up between now and the end of the season.”
Town head to League I leaders Leicester on Saturday unbeaten in four games, and Collins said: “It would be great to keep the run going. A result there would be a great lift before going to Yeovil.
