Worthy is booked on loan debut

NEXT opponents Hartlepool slumped 2-1 at Brighton as Town midfielder Jon Worthington made his loan debut for Yeovil in their 1-0 win at Orient.

Pools, who come to the Galpharm tomorrow, were sunk by Calvin Andrew’s last-minute goal on the South coast and are 16th in the League I table.

The North-Easterners started well and took a 20th-minute lead when skipper Michael Nelson converted a cross by Joel Porter.

But Seagulls captain Nicky Forster levelled from close range in the 59th minute after substitute Seb Carole, the former Leeds man who trained with Town last month, squared Dean Cox’s deep cross.

Andrew, on loan from Crystal Palace, nodded in Kevin McLeod’s cross to bag the three points.

Yeovil, who completed the capture of former Town skipper Worthington for a month on Friday, were also last-gasp winners.
