Team effort now the key says Town's Jim Goodwin

JIM GOODWIN is hoping to make an immediate return from his suspension against Tranmere tomorrow and promised: “We’ll be giving it everything!”
The tough-tackling midfield man has been forced to sit out the home defeat by Millwall and the encouraging 1-1 draw at high-riding MK Dons after collecting 10 bookings for the season.
Now, he’s hoping for a recall from manager Lee Clark as Town bid to close the gap on the top six and make a late push for the play-offs.
“I’m itching to get back into action as quickly as possible, although I realise I have no given right to a place in the team,” said Goodwin.
“By all accounts, Tom Clarke did really well at MK Dons and the gaffer was extremely pleased with the performance, but I’m hoping to get the call.
“The manager knows what I’m capable of doing and hopefully my past performances will stand me in good stead for a place against Tranmere.
