Clark anger over errors
TOWN boss Lee Clark was left to rue his side’s first-half failings as more points slipped away.
Having conceded twice in the opening 18 minutes, Town were up against it despite facing a Cheltenham side still anchored to the bottom of League I and with a squad ravaged by injuries.
To add to Clark’s frustration his team were up against 10 men for the final half hour following the dismissal of Josh Low by Cambridgeshire referee Kevin Wright after the Robins player appeared to stamp on Tom Clarke.
A Robbie Williams penalty miss added to Town’s woes as they scrapped a 2-2 draw – a result that sees a return of just four points from the last 21 on offer.
Clark’s biggest concern was Town’s defensive frailties.
