Huddersfield Town: Fans to turn out in force for Boothy send-off

TOWN fans will turn out in force to roar Andy Booth towards the big 150 at Brisbane Road tomorrow.
It’s all-ticket for the away section at Leyton Orient’s redeveloped East London ground, and more than 1,000 have already been snapped up.
Town fans have until 4.00 this afternoon to purchase (it’s also the cut-off for season-ticket holders who wish to retain their existing seat at the Galpharm).
And it’s clear the faithful are keen to give Booth, who scored his 149th goal for the club in last Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with Brighton, a fitting send-off.
Booth and Co also have the incentive of trying to equal the club-record run of five successive away wins, set in 1924-25.
Michael Scott, who sets up fans’ travel for the Town Supporters’ Association, reports an upsurge in interest.
“We’ve had plenty of enquiries and bookings, and it’s brilliant that we’re going to have a big support there to cheer on Boothy and the lads,” said Scott.
“It’s a reflection of the esteem we all hold Boothy in, and it was interesting to note the number of Brighton fans who were also applauding him last week.
