Exeter and Wycombe on Town's agenda next season!

TOWN’S travelling fans can look forward to trips to Exeter and Wycombe as well as Brentford next season – but Crewe and Northampton are off the agenda.

Those two joined already-relegated Hereford and Cheltenham in dropping to League II as Carlisle breathed a sigh of relief.

Graham Kavanagh and Paul Thirwell scored as a 2-0 home win over Millwall saved the Cumbrians from the drop and left the Londoners facing a two-legged play-off semi-final against Leeds (MK Dons and Scunthorpe meet in the other tie).

Crewe crashed to a 3-0 home defeat by champions Leicester, who had Bruno Berner, Lloyd Dyer and Matty Fryatt, with his 33rd of the season, on target.

Northampton went down by the same scoreline at Leeds, where Luciano Becchio, Jermaine Beckford, with his 34th of the campaign, and Robert Snodgrass netted.
