WEDS AM: Darlington midfielder linked with Huddersfield Town

HUDDERSFIELD Town have been linked with Darlington midfielder Jason Kennedy.

The former Middlesbrough midfielder has impressed for the North-East club over the last season.

League II Darlington would have been in the play-offs, but were docked 10 points for going into administration earlier this year.

Now the Quakers have been left in turmoil, with their manager Dave Penney quitting to take charge of Town's League One rivals Oldham.

According to SkySports, because the club have been in administration their players have had difficulty in picking up their salaries and that means Kennedy - who has one year left on his current deal - would be allowed to leave the club in the summer.
