Former Huddersfield Town loanee on life at Leeds United

LIAM DICKINSON is clinging to his dream of a second successive Wembley play-off appearance.
But not only have Leeds to overcome a 1-0 deficit in tomorrow’s crunch League I semi-final second-leg showdown with Millwall in the hot-house atmosphere of Elland Road.
The 23-year-old former Town loan striker has also got to force his way into boss Simon Grayson’s big-match plans.
There’s no doubt Grayson is a fan of Derby’s former Stockport County frontman, who bagged six goals in 13 games for Town at the start of this season.
He took him to Blackpool in November, when he was boss at Bloomfield Road, and was rewarded with four goals in seven Championship games.
Grayson switched to Leeds in December, and brought in Dickinson in March, since when he has played eight times, but so far failed to score.
Dickinson took last season’s tally to 21 when he was on target in Stockport’s 3-2 League II play-off final win over Rochdale at Wembley, where Town’s Anthony Pilkington also netted for County.
And the man who joined Derby for £750,000 last summer would love to help Leeds win promotion to the Championship.
