“Simon Grayson took me to Blackpool on loan from Derby earlier in the season and things went pretty well,” said Dickinson, who joined Stockport from non-league Woodley Sports.
“I managed to score a few goals, so he knows what I am all about and when the chance came to work with him at a big club like Leeds I jumped at the opportunity.
“I’ve had a bit of a problem with a knee injury, which took longer to heal than expected, but now I am back fully fit and still hoping to build on the games I’ve had so far.
“I made it to the play-off final at Wembley with Stockport last season and it was an amazing feeling. It would be great to go there again with Leeds.”
Leeds expect defender Sam Sodje to be fit.
The Reading loanee dislocated his shoulder in the second half of Saturday’s first leg, but popped it back in and played on.
Scunthorpe go to MK Dons for the other League I semi second leg on Friday with the game tied at 1-1.
