Huddersfield Town's Keigan Parker on Kilmarnock wishlist?

KILMARNOCK could launch a raid for Town striker Keigan Parker.

The first arrival of last close-season could become the first departure of this as Galpharm boss Lee Clark rebuilds his squad.

Scotsman Parker, who began his career at St Johnstone, is one of a number of contracted Town players for whom Clark would consider offers.

And Kilmarnock’s former Bradford boss Jim Jefferies, who is still fighting relegation from the Scottish Premier League, is believed to be interested.

“I’ve heard suggestions that Kilmarnock want to have a look at Keigan,” confirmed Clark, who loaned the 26-year-old former Blackpool man to Hartlepool in March.

“There has been no contact from them as yet, but with their season still ongoing, they could be waiting to see what their situation will be.”

Kilmarnock boosted their hopes of top-flight survival with Wednesday’s 2-1 home win over St Mirren, when ex-Town loan man Kevin Kyle grabbed both goals.
