Sean Jarvis joins Huddersfield Town board

SEAN JARVIS has joined the Town board while club secretary Ann Hough, an existing director, has been handed an extended role.
Former Oldham Athletic director of marketing Jarvis has been Town’s director of business development for the last year, having previously performed the role for both the football club and the Giants since his switch from Boundary Park in August 2006.
The 42-year-old’s move to the board as commercial director comes two days after Roger Armitage and Ralph Rimmer stood down.
It takes membership of the board to five, the others being chairman Dean Hoyle, shareholder Ken Davy, chief executive Nigel Clibbens and Hough, who becomes operations director.
Hoyle has been heavily involved in developing new income streams, securing sponsorship deals and improving relations with supporters.
He was a driving force behind the formation of the Town Supporters Association, bringing together a number of fans’ groups, and worked hard on opening the Pink Link Stand to Town supporters.
Hoyle said: “I am delighted to welcome Sean to the board, where I am sure he will continue to build on the successes I have seen him achieve during his full-time role as director of business development.”
Clibbens added: “It has been excellent working alongside Sean since I arrived at the club at the start of the year.
