Danny Cadamarteri set for new challenge at Dundee United

"They just missed out, finishing fifth, on the same points as Aberdeen, who made the Europa, but with a poorer goal difference," said Cadamarteri, 29, who played 50 times in two injury-hit seasons with Town.
"Hopefully we can get into Europe for my second season, because I’d love to play on that stage."
In the meantime, the former Leeds and Bradford man is relishing the prospect of pitting his wits against the likes of Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibernian and Aberdeen.
"I was sorry to leave Town, but this is an exciting new challenge, and I can’t wait to meet the rest of the lads and get going," he added.
"A lot of people decry Scottish football, but I don’t think that many of them have seen it.
"It’s fast and competitive, which I reckon will suit my game, and you look at the kind of crowds Celtic and Rangers can draw, and you can’t help but be excited at the prospect of playing there."
The Terrors, who are celebrating their centenary, start with a home game against Hearts on August 15.
