"I was sorry to leave Town, but this is an exciting new challenge, and I can’t wait to meet the rest of the lads and get going," he added.
"A lot of people decry Scottish football, but I don’t think that many of them have seen it.
"It’s fast and competitive, which I reckon will suit my game, and you look at the kind of crowds Celtic and Rangers can draw, and you can’t help but be excited at the prospect of playing there."
