Lee Peltier
LEE CLARK labelled Town signing Lee Peltier a “tremendous asset” and today vowed to continue strengthening at the Galpharm.
Sources suggest Watford striker Theo Robinson, who was on loan at Southend, will quickly follow Peltier onto Clark’s League I roster as Town embark on Day Two of their pre-season schedule. Yeovil player of the year Peltier, 22, follows in the footsteps of summer arrivals Peter Clarke, Antony Kay and Robbie Simpson, who completed a medical yesterday as the squad returned to pre-season training.
“I’m delighted to have signed Lee Peltier because he is another to have been courted by clubs in our league and in the Championship,” said Clark.
“I was impressed with him when he came on trial to Norwich, he’s a fantastic athlete and, having been schooled at Liverpool, he’s very accomplished on the ball.
