Ex-Coventry City striker tells Huddersfield Town fans: I will deliver

“To be honest, I haven’t spoken to my old manager (Chris Coleman) about the move at all.

“This move is all my own decision and I like to judge people and situations on my own rather than relying on references from other people.

“Lee seems like a great bloke and I am looking forward to working with him.

“If I need to be a target man I am happy, but if he wants me to play off a bigger guy I feel I am equally adept at playing that role. Hopefully whatever the manager asks of me I can deliver.

“I’m very confident that I can score goals regularly in League I, just as I am sure that I could in the Championship if I played up front.

“League I will be tough and is a new challenge for me, but I am confident that I can score goals and help to get us promoted.”

He added: “It’s brilliant that I get to test myself in a League that is new to me.

“I will have to adapt to the style in which teams play, but I am still young and it is all a part of my learning curve. I am only 24 and I have got a lot to learn, but I want to get better.”
