Huddersfield Town Juniors held by Middlesbrough

TOWN juniors were held goalless in their FA Premier Academy clash with Middlesbrough at Storthes Hall.

The point was enough to put Graham Mitchell’s side second in Group D after three wins and three draws in the first seven fixtures.

The game was played in string winds and clear-cut chances were few and far between. Town had the best of the opening half hour before the game became more even.

There were outings for first-year professionals Spencer Harris, Lewis Nightingale and Jack Hunt but one setback for Mitchell was the loss of highly-rates striker Jimmy Spencer with a wrist injury.

Town head for Sheffield United on Saturday (11.00).
