Complacency not an issue insists Huddersfield Town’s Anthony Pilkington

“The vital thing is that somebody gets on the scoresheet and that we score more times than the opposition, because points are what win promotion.

“We’ve got ourselves on a nice little run, and it’s vital we continue, starting against Hartlepool, then down at Swindon on Tuesday.”

Not surprisingly, Pilkington and Co go into tomorrow’s game with spirits soaring and hopes high they can record another victory.

“It’s a great place to be,” he

confirmed. “We’re not only winning games and scoring goals, but doing it by playing attractive football, and that’s great for the supporters and for the players.

“I got texts from friends who saw the Wycombe game on television, and it was basically a case of ‘Wow!’

“We’re playing with real confidence and togetherness, all the lads are doing their jobs, we’re passing and moving, and the full-backs are getting around on the outside, and when everything comes together, it feels like we’re unstoppable.

“Our supporters have been superb, and it seems other people are starting to take notice of what we’re doing, but that also means opposition sides will be better versed in the way we go about things, so we have to remain totally switched on and focused.”
