TOWN keeper Matt Glennon is on the verge of a move to Bradford.
The West Yorkshire neighbours are in talks which could lead to City taking over the 31-year-old’s contract, which runs to the end of the season.
While he’s been a regular on the bench, ex-Carlisle stopper Glennon hasn’t played at first-team level under Clark.
Alex Smithies was promoted to the starting side shortly before the manager’s arrival, and has kept his place.
A transfer for Glennon, who signed from St Johnstone in 2006 and has made 122 appearances, would mean Bradford swapping one Town keeper for another.
Simon Eastwood recently returned from a loan stint with the Bantams, playing 28 times.
“At this stage of his career, Matt needs to be playing regular football and to have the chance of earning a contract for next season,” said Clark.
Town’s reserve clash with Bradford at Emley tomorrow has been postponed.
