PETER CLARKE will be looking to complete a hat trick in front of the Sky Sports cameras today.
Town’s 28-year-old skipper, above, has scored six goals this season, and half have been screened live.
Sky were at the Galpharm when centre-back Clarke grabbed two in the 6-0 destruction of Wycombe in November.
And his header clinched Town’s televised 1-0 win over today’s play-off visitors Millwall in West Yorkshire a month ago.
“It would be a good personal achievement to make it three out of three, but of course, the main thing is that someone scores,” said the former Southend man.
Consistent Clarke, recently named player of the season by Town fans, is looking forward to another big crowd at the Galpharm today.
There were 13,185 present for Millwall’s last visit and 15,832 for the 2-1 win over Colchester, and ticket sales suggest a 17,000 crowd will be in the stadium this lunchtime.
“The atmosphere at our last two home games has been terrific,” he said.
“The club have come up with a few initiatives and the fans turned out in their numbers and in really good voice.
