Huddersfield Town Supporters Association sponsor two players for this season
Aug 5 2010 by Mel Booth, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
The HTSA is ready for 2010-11.
Representatives of the Supporters Association had their latest meeting with Club Directors last Friday and it proved to be another very useful exchange of views and news.
Topics ranged from plans for another Club Open Day (probably in the Autumn Half term) through publicity options for HTSA to the club’s decision to allow the use of vuvuzuelas in the Family Stand.
This is in direct contrast to the attitude adopted by other clubs and the HTSA believes that this will add to, rather than detract from, the atmosphere at home matches.
In another show of partnership with the club, the Supporters Association this week sponsored not one, but two players for the new season and we wish all the best to the Town squad – in particular to Lee Novak and Ian Bennett, the boys we are backing. Let’s hope that Lee is soon back to full fitness.
The countdown is on now to Saturday’s opening match at Notts County.
There are still a few places left on the HTSA coach, priced at £12 for members.
These can be booked either by ringing Sally on 07926 165863, or alternatively by email to email@example.com
Please note, though, that the coach will NOT be setting off from the Galpharm because of the Rugby League semi-final match.
Instead, all coaches will set off from St Andrew’s Road, near the car park at 11.30am.
Finally, a last reminder for Patrons of tonight’s meeting at the Galpharm with Lee Clark and his team, starting at 8pm.
