Millwall not only option for Huddersfield Town’s Theo

Theo Robinson

THEO ROBINSON looks set to leave Town – but boss Lee Clark won’t be parting with any other senior players during the transfer window.

The manager’s pledge comes after a week in which Alex Smithies, Anthony Pilkington and Lee Peltier have all been linked with higher-level clubs.

“I’d be amazed if there weren’t rumours, because I have some very good players here,” said Clark ahead of today’s home FA Cup third-round clash with Dover.

“But the owner of the club has reassured me, and gone public, that none of my players have to go, so I’m relaxed about the situation.

“So are the players. They’re well aware there will be stories about moves, but they’re focused on the job they have to do here.”

The departure of Robinson, who scored 16 times for Town last season but has played only twice this time, would not come as a surprise.
