A STEADY win and passage through to the next round.
Probably what many fans would have taken before kick off on Saturday, but what were the ratings for the performance?
Listed below are the ratings given by the Examiner's HTAFC reporter Doug Thomson.
Not his busiest afternoon, but made the saves he needed to and recorded a second successive clean sheet. 8
The teenage left-back competed well and did a decent shackling job on tricky winger Harry Baker. 7
A mistimed backpass which almost let in Adam Birchall was the only real blemish on a solid performance. 7
Slotted his fifth Town goal and could have had others as he covered plenty of ground in central midfield. 8
Made some key blocks and won his headers as Dover dangerman Birchall was kept quiet for the most part. 8
Might have conceded a late own goal, but also made some telling touches as Dover pushed at the end. 7
A lovely piece of control paved the way for the second goal, and the winger was never afraid of going for goal. 7
Once again his workrate and passing ability caught the eye, with the only downer another yellow card. 8
Town’s top scorer worked well in tandem with Lee Novak to give the Dover defence plenty to ponder. 7
Always a willing worker, he had a central part in both goals and was still plugging away right at the end. 8
Always eager to run at the visitors, he notched a neat seventh goal of the season and cleared off the line. 8
Alan Lee (for Rhodes, 58mins) 6;
Tom Clarke (for Arfield, 67) 6;
Graham Carey (for Roberts, 72) 6.
