ROCHDALE have secured the signing of Stockport County defender Robbie Williams on a deal until the end of the season.

Williams only joined League II strugglers Stockport last summer on a free transfer after spending three years with Town.

The full-back made 26 appearances during his time at Edgeley Park, but clinched his departure before the close of the transfer window.

The 26-year-old (pictured) will help to boost Keith Hill's squad for the closing months of the season as Rochdale aim to push towards the League I play-offs.
