HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Lee Clark took possession of a plaque to mark his side's record 43-match unbeaten run and said: "Let's make it 44."

The memento was commissioned by the Football League league sponsor N Power after Saturday's 2-1 home win over Notts County  took Town clear of Nottingham Forest's previous best sequence of 42 games without loss, set in 1977 and 1978.

Clark is already looking ahead to the big clash at League I leaders Charlton next Monday, November 28, when victory would cut the Londoners' advantage to two points.

"Promotion is the ultimate goal, but the philosophy has always been to look no further than the next game, and it's a really exciting one," said the Galpharm boss.
