DEFENDER Jack Hunt hailed the grit and determination behind this win and said: “It’s one of our best performances of the season.”
The Terriers went two goals down early on but roared back to go second in the League One table after favourable results elsewhere.
Hunt admitted the football Town played was not particularly good but added: “This was a performance we can all be proud of.
“We didn’t play especially well, but the grit and determination we showed to get back in it means it was probably one of the best performances of the season.”
On going back into the automatic promotion places Hunt added: “We said after the home defeat by Bournemouth that we wanted to go on another run.
“We’re doing that and have gone second in the table. And it’s nice to have the points on the board even if some teams have games in hand.
“We probably should have more points as well. We dropped points against Carlisle and Notts County and we maybe should’ve won at Sheffield Wednesday.
“It certainly sets up an interesting battle for the rest of the season. Many of the top teams have to come here, so it’s in own hands.”
Hunt also praised fellow defender Jamie McCombe, who continued his good form following a loan spell at Preston by scoring the equaliser.
