DANNY CADAMARTERI is ready to further fuel Huddersfield Town’s League I promotion bid after coming in from the cold.

The 32-year-old attacker heads to Tranmere Rovers today hoping to be involved for the sixth match in succession.

After figuring just once previously this season – in the FA Cup defeat at Swindon – he has made a big impression.

And in the absence of fellow wideman Gary Roberts following hernia surgery, Cadamarteri’s contribution could be even more crucial.

“It’s great for me to be involved again,” said the man who returned from Dundee United for a second stint at Town a year ago and is out of contract again in the summer.

“We’ve got some very good players, like Danny Ward and Donal McDermott, who do what I do, so I know competition is tough.

“I just want to get as many minutes on the pitch as possible and do what I can to stake a claim.”
