SEAN MORRISON can’t wait to show Huddersfield Town fans what he’s all about.

The travelling faithful got a good look at the on-loan Reading centre-back when he made a bright debut at Tranmere.

Now the 21-year-old former Swindon player is looking forward to stepping out at the Galpharm against MK Dons on Saturday.

“I saw when I was here last season how good our fans are,” said Morrison, who spent a month at Town in March and April but had to make do with sitting on the bench.

“Now I want to play in front of them at our ground, and I want them to take to me.

“I’m desperate to keep my place and to keep pushing us on.

“We know we can play better than this, and will aim to show it in matches coming up, starting against MK Dons.”

Looking back at the Tranmere clash, Morrison, who played on the left side of central defence, said: “I was a bit nervous beforehand.

“I’m at a new club and I had never played in that back four before, but I soon felt comfortable.

“Jamie McCombe is fantastic to play alongside and Gary Naysmith helped me out a lot.

“It was a difficult game, more of a battle than a football match.

“You know what you are going to get when you come to Tranmere, because Les Parry’s teams are well organised and good from set-pieces.

“We would have liked a win, but at least we got a point away from home, and they all count.

“There were chances at both ends, especially towards the end, and either side could have won it.

“We’ll take draw and move on and keep working hard in training to make sure we’re ready for Saturday.”
