HUDDERSFIELD Town's Sean Morrison is looking forward to unleashing his throw-ins on MK Dons – and the rest of League I.
The on-loan Reading player’s long-distance deliveries are set to form a key component in Town’s attacking armoury.
Travelling fans saw first hand in the 1-1 draw at Tranmere the danger the 6ft 4in ace can bring to opposition penalty areas when he hurls the ball from the touchline.
Now they’re hoping Morrison can make the same kind of impact as Stoke’s famous long-throw exponent Rory Delap.
"The throws are something I’ve worked on for a long time, and if they can help us, that’s fantastic," said the Plymouth-born player, who made his Town debut at Prenton Park.
"We only had a short time to practice them before the Tranmere game, and the more we can work on the training ground, the better.
"I think the lay-out of the Galpharm will help me as well. It’s tight around the pitch at Tranmere, so I was only able to get in a couple of steps before each throw.
"It was hard to get the ball as flat as I would want, but with a longer run-up, they should become more Delap-esque!"
Second-placed Town will have new frontline signing Kallum Higginbotham pushing for a place against fifth-placed MK.
