DANNY WILSON isn’t worried by the fact he and Sheffield United have lost four play-off finals between them.
He was in charge of Swindon when they were beaten 1-0 by Millwall in the 2010 League I showpiece, when Town’s Danny Ward was in his team.
Meanwhile the Blades have lost three Championship – to Crystal Palace in 1997, Wolves in 2003 and Burnley in 2009.
“It’s not good is it?” said Wilson, who is aiming to get the South Yorkshire club out of League I at the first attempt.
“But you can’t worry about what’s happened before. We’re just preparing ourselves for a very tough game.
“There’s nothing we can change about the past, other than perhaps do things better than the last time they were out there, but it’s a different group of players in most cases.
“We’re looking forward, not back.”
1971/72: The first season the finalists met in top-flight football. Relegated Town were beaten 3-1 away before drawing 0-0 at home.
One to watch - Stephen Quinn: A loyal servant of Sheffield United since signing from Dublin club St Patrick's in 2005, the Irish wide boy has topped 200 appearances.
The 25-year-old ex-Republic U21 player likes a shot at goal but is more noted as a creator, topping this season's assists list with 15.
