HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have completed the signing of former Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood on a three-year deal.

The 21-year-old Northern Ireland star is the club’s third close-season recruit after boss Simon Grayson beat county rivals Barnsley to his signature.   He was out of contract at Old Trafford, but because of his age, a  compensation fee, believed to be  around £400,000, will be paid.

Norwood, who played on loan at Scunthorpe and Coventry last season, follows Crystal Palace striker Sean Scannell and Dundee United left-back Paul Dixon into the Galpharm.
