SIMON GRAYSON has called for “concentration of the highest order” from Town against Burnley tomorrow.
The Town boss recognises the danger from Charlie Austin and whoever partners him up front – Martin Paterson or Sam Vokes – but says his players are ready for the test.
“We respect all our opposition, but we are not fearful of them,” said Grayson. “I know we will give every game our best shot and see where it takes us.
“Concentration is a big factor, because if you switch off even for a second in this division you will get punished. That’s probably the biggest difference with League I.
“One mistake can cost you, so we need concentration of the highest order, but I also think other clubs have plenty to think about with us as well.”
Grayson is confident his squad can claim three points – Paterson (hamstring) is being assessed by Burnley – especially if they can improve service to Jordan Rhodes.
“When you have a goal threat like Jordan you have to supply him,” he said.
“We want to be solid, but we also want to entertain and get goals. We are learning every game and we know every aspect of our game needs to be spot on if we are going to win matches.”
