New VIP matchday lounge in operation at Huddersfield Town
TOWN are always trying to widen the attraction of matchday – and now they have a new place to see and be seen.
They have a new VIP Suite for home games at the John Smith’s Stadium called the Lewis James Suite.
It’s the idea of Sean Jarvis’s commercial team, based on Manchester Airport’s VIP area, and has been created with the help of club partner Andy Thornton.
Those who’ve already used the suite include Olympic gold medalist Ed Clancy, Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, football dignitaries and TV stars.
“It’s important that Huddersfield Town does the right thing and brings these influential, go-ahead people to the area,” said commercial director Jarvis.
“We want them to see Huddersfield is the place to make it and get involved in our fantastic town. Times are tough and the town needs these people.
“The new Lewis James suite has been a success in the opening two games of the season and we’re expecting a real ‘who’s who’ of names to add to the atmosphere over the coming campaign.”
The suite is a complement to the White Rose Club and Stripes Bar for supporters and new furniture in the facility will be used for the first time at today’s game with Derby County.
It’s a place for businesses to network, with many of the club’s partners using the suite, and fans can rub shoulders with celebrities as well – food is available to buy – by contacting the club’s commercial department.
