JAMES VAUGHAN goes hunting another three Huddersfield Town points in 48 hours and vows: “We should be very proud of the way we beat Derby.”
The 24-year-old Norwich loanee earned a standing ovation for his part in the 1-0 victory, sealed by Danny Ward’s first-minute strike, and wants to follow the performance with another winning display against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
“It was a fantastic win for us against Derby and those are the sorts of games we should be very proud of winning,” he said.
“It was a tough game with not much in it, so to come out with three points shows the character we’ve got in the squad.
“Hopefully we can now build on what we’ve shown in the last few games and keep pushing on.”
Boss Simon Grayson says Wednesday will be like a ‘wounded animal’ after their 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Friday night. Vaughan agreed it will be a test, but one he’s looking forward to.

“Everyone knows how tough this division is, as was evidenced by the way we had to battle against Derby, and I’m sure it will be the same at Wednesday,” he explained.
