THE FA are investigating coin throwing incidents during Huddersfield Town’s match at Sheffield Wednesday.

Referee Graham Salisbury and an assistant handed the coins to police. They had been thrown by home supporters housed in the North Stand.

The referee noted the throwing of coins in his match report to the FA.

The Hillsborough club could face a charge as a result.
