Huddersfield Town out to brighten recent record against Birmingham City

HUDDERSFIELD Town are plotting their first win in 10 meetings with Birmingham – and a first at St Andrews since the 1990-91 season.

Their last victory over the second city side was by a 3-0 margin in 1996-97, when Rob Edwards, Marcus Stewart and Paul Dalton scored in the Championship clash in West Yorkshire.

There have been eight visits to Birmingham since Iwan Roberts and Kieran O’Regan (penalty) clinched a 2-1 League I victory in November 1990.

Town’s last trip to St Andrews was in 2000-01, when they were beaten 2-1, with Craig Armstrong scoring.
