Huddersfield Town rated outsiders against Birmingham City at St Andrews say bookies

BIRMINGHAM might be 11 places below Town in the Championship table.

But they are still favourites at 6/5 with BetVictor to send Simon Grayson’s men home empty-handed.

Town are outsiders at 5/2 courtesy of bet365.

And Skybet quote the contest at 12/5 to finish all square.

As Birmingham tend to be pretty strong on their own patch, the stalemate could be well backed, alongside Ladbrokes’s 6/1 marked against a 1-1 scoreline.

But Town’s last two road trips have ended in impressive 3-1 victories.

And this, coupled with the fact that Blues were hammered 5-0 by Barnsley in their last home outing, perhaps gives Town the edge.

Subsequently, travelling fans might fancy bet365’s 4/1 for their team to shade it by a one-goal margin.

A Town triumph on the back of a drawn first period at 6/1 via Stan James.

And bet365 rate the visitors 11/1 to register a 2-1 win and cautious supporters can hedge their bets by backing their side at 13/8 in Paddy Power’s ‘Draw No Bet’ market.

Where goals are concerned, BetVictor offer 4/5 about both teams managing to grab at least one.

And the fixture is 4/5 (Stan James) to generate a minimum of three in total.

The first of those is 6/1 courtesy of William Hill to be struck by James Vaughan, who is 6/4 with BetVictor to notch at any time.

Paddy Power quote evens for the game’s opener to be scored before the 27th minute.
