JIMMY SPENCER twice hit the bar as Huddersfield Town and Leeds United fought out a goalless draw in their Under 21 Professional Development League clash at the John Smith’s Stadium.
It's now three games unbeaten for Steve Eyre’s development side, which included the impressive Sean Scannell, Alan Lee, Tom Clarke and Murray Wallace.
Development team skipper Jordan Sinnott crossed for Spencer to head against the bar in the eighth minute while former Town keeper Paul Rachubka made a good save to thwart the striker in the 45th.
Spencer again came close on the hour, breaking down the right and thumping the ball against the bar and over.
Town: Allinson, Smith, McIntyre, Sinnott, Wallace, T Clarke, Hopson, Crooks, Lee (Abadaki, 70mins), Spencer, Scannell. Subs not used: Loftus, Burke, Leonard, Wilczynski.
