FIRST let’s start with the fantastic 2-1 victory over Wolves at home last Saturday.
A goal apiece from loan men James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford gave Huddersfield Town the points in front of a bumper crowd of 18,012.
Two pinpoint crosses from Jack Hunt and Adam Clayton respectively saw a well-timed Vaughan header placed into the far side of the Wolves net, while an acrobatic bicycle kick earned Beckford his 100th league goal – and in some style!
The win moved Town up into third position – however, after a 3-1 defeat to bogey team Peterborough at London Road on Tuesday night the Terriers slipped back to sixth in the table.
Simon Grayson is the special guest at the next supporters meeting at Canalside on Thursday November 22 and, hopefully, he will be bringing some of his management team along with him – so get that in the diary!
