HUDDERSFIELD Town has signed Republic of Ireland U16 Captain Danny Kane.
The Terriers have snapped up the teenage centre back after a short trial last year.
The club has fought off a number of other high profile clubs to win his signature and he will join Town's Academy in the summer, under the guidance of Mark Lillis.
Huddersfield Town's Head of Football Operations, Ross Wilson, said: "We've been tracking Danny extensively in recent months.
"His performances for Cherry Orchard and the Republic of Ireland suggest he is a young player with considerable potential, but of course he has a long way to go in his journey to reach his personal goals."
