MARK ROBINS says calm heads will be crucial as Huddersfield Town aim to kick-start an act of escapology with a win over Millwall at the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow.

His side go into the 12.30 clash aiming to jump out of the Championship relegation places before their rivals play at 3.00.

Such is the tightness of the division, any club in the bottom half could yet be sucked into the survival struggle.

Robins accepts Town have their work cut out after Tuesday’s 1-0 loss at Blackburn combined with Peterborough’s point against Brighton and Wolves’ win over Hull left them third-bottom.

But the boss insists his players have what it takes to preserve Championship status after last season’s hard-earned promotion from League I.

“We owe it to the owner and the supporters to make sure we are still playing at this level next season,” said Robins.

“It’s certainly not a situation anybody wanted to be in, but it is what it is, we have to deal with it and I believe we will.

“We have shown we can win matches, now we have to string a couple together, and I know the desire among the players to stay up is very strong.

“You need your warriors, that’s a starting point in any team, but you also need calm heads, people who can maintain their focus whatever is going on.

“We also have an advantage in that two of our remaining three games are at home (Barnsley visit on the final day after Town go to already-relegated Bristol City a week tomorrow). Our fans can play a big role in staying with us all the way and helping us get to where we all want to be.”

Robins says right-back Jack Hunt is back in contention after missing three matches (hamstring), but winger Danny Ward (groin) remains sidelined.
