LEE NOVAK is set for a reunion with former Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark at Birmingham.

It's believed the striker who last week rejected a new Town contract will now sign for their Championship rivals.

Clark, planning for his second season at the St Andrews helm, brought fellow Geordie Novak to Town from Gateshead for £150,000 in January 2009.

After being loaned back to the non-league club for the remainder of that season, he joined Town for the 2009-10 campaign.

Ex-Gretna and Newcastle Blue Star player Novak, 24, notched 42 goals in 172 games, helping Town win promotion through the League I play-offs a year ago, then successfully stave off relegation from the Championship.

It's believed Birmingham have fought off competition from Barnsley, Port Vale and Hibs for his signature.
